been born sometime before then.
He is reported as 26 to 44 years of age in the 1800 census (b. 1755-
1774), and must have been born no earlier than 1755.
He is mentioned in the 1780 Property Tax Assessment list for Hanover
Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa. He is probably at least 18 years of age to
appear in this list, therefore he must be born before 1762.
Henry takes the Oaths of Allegiance in 1778 and must be at least 18
years of age to take the oath. Therefore he must be born before
1761. |
