Death Memo She appears last in the 1940 census. She is not mentioned as a surviving sibling in her brother, Joseph's obituary, and therefore probably died sometime before her brother's death in 1948. Richard Stanley Hahn recalls an incident involving his father that happened when he was 12 years old, and knows that Fannie MAYER was alive at that time, making it at least 1942. No death record was located by the Division of Vital Rcords in Pennsylvania for Fannie MAYER between the years 1939 and 1948. It is possible she died after 1948, or in a different state.

She is reported to have married a Jewish man named, MAYER, and had no
children.

Matilda May Hahn recalls as an 11 or 12 year old taking the subway to
12th St. & Lindley Ave. in Olney to see her aunt, Fannie, and have
lunch and spend the day. She remembers her having dark grown hair
and was quite short (about 5 feet). Once on a Sunday, her father
drovbe her to her aunt's place.

1900 United States Federal Census Record (on 1 June, enumerated 14 &
15 June):
In 1900, at age of 16, she lived with her parents in their home at
2329 Albion St., Philadelphia, and was steadily employed as a
saleslady and single. She was born in August 1883.

1910 United States Federal Census Record (for 15 April, enumerated 18
April):
In 1910, at age 26, Fannie Hahn was steadily employed as a saleswoman
at a department store, and was single. She lived with her parents
and siblings in a house at 2329 N. Albion St., Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, and was born in Pennsylvania to Pennsylvania born
parents (a discrepency with the 1870 and 1880 census which indicates
his father is born in Bavaria, Germany).

1920 - Philadelphia

1930 - Atlantic City.

She may have died in Atlantic City.
