| b. 21 November 1783? Burial: Headstone: "In memory of Stephen Skinner who died August 12, 1845, aged 61 years 8 mos. 21 days" General: Migrated to Canada between 1805 and 1810. Fought for England during the War of 1812. The Jubilee History of Thorold Township and town, 1898, Appendix I, mpg. 62, "Old Military Documents" lists Stephen Skinner as taking the oath to join Captain Kerby's Company on September 4, 1812.
