Film #0475062 Germany: Bayern: Marienthal Church Book 1694-1749 1727 March ---- Ludwig Shalli from Ernsthaussen hoff with his wife Anna Margreth a son born the 30th ------ Godfather named: Christian Fiery from Wendelsheim and his wife Margretha Sophie --- the child the name Christian given. He arrived with his father and bros in 1743. He was "Im Jahre 1747" at Hill Reformed Church [Lebanon Co, PA]. He was a freeman on the 1759 tax list. He took the oath of allegiance in 1778. He joined in the sale of his father, Ludwig's, land in 1783. Catherine Smith named his son, Adam Shalley, in her will in Cumberland Co., PA in 1808. I had that Christian Schally (1727-1800) was buried at St. Jacob's (Kimmerlings) Reformed Church Cemetery, but apparently my only source for this was his burial record, which we have, and does not name the specific place of burial.
