There is an unidentified female family member, aged 5-9 years, in the
1840 census for Michael and Maria Hess. This may be an error and may
be intended to show Urias, who appears with John Hess in the 1850
census, and may be a brother, but has not been found in later
censuses. Urias may have died before his father declared his Will in
1861, and that is why his name does not appear in the Will.
