| It is not known which Jacob SEYTER is her father, the older or younger. There is no baptism for her in the baptismal records in Flacht, therefore she is probably the daughter of old Jacob SEYTER, because the baptisms of the children of young Jacob SEYTER are found in the church records in Flacht (althoughthis may not be a strong argument, since an entry for one son, Bastian, appears in the death records in Flacht, but no entry appears for him in the baptismal records). In the 1571 baptismal record for the younger Jacob SEYTER's daughter, Appolonia, he is referred to as the younger, but not so in the 1574 baptismal record for his son Hanns. Assuming she is the daughter of old jacob SEYTER, she may have been born before the earliest baptism records in Flacht in 1563, but almost certainly before the baptisms of her youngest two siblings born in Flacht, 1565 and 1568. | ||||||||
