§

In the Name of God, Amen

I, the undersigned Peter Wallmer, of Union Township, Lebanon County Pennsylvania since I am somewhat ill and weak, possessing, however, my complete understanding, memory, mental capacities as if I were in perfect health for which I am grateful to God, and aware of the fact that we must all die and that the time of our decease is uncertain and that every person will leave this earth at a given time, I hereby with these presents do make and declare my last Will and Testament, Namely:

First, I commend my undying soul into the hands of God and my body to the earth, and it is my will that all my just debts, if there are any, and my burial expenses shall be paid after my death, and I order that my beloved wife Barbara shall take into possession after my death whatever she wishes from my property and of the house whatever she desires to claim and the remainder shall be sold.  My wife shall have a cow and she shall have the carriage and the harness equipment belonging to it.  All the household cash on hand shall be hers.  And if Solomon Menbeck does not pay my son David Wollmer, then shall David Wallmer have his money from Manbecks as much as belongs to David Wallmer and the rest shall Solomon Manbeck have, the children shall all have like.

And I name and appoint my daughter's husband, Solomon Tobias as my executor and I declare this which I have signed by my own hand to be my last will and testament, and have my seal attached to the same.  Done on the 28th day of March 1844.
