| Notes for Sabina RAUCH | ||||||||||||||||||||
| The following Sabina Fisher (b. abt. 1778), is found living in South Lebanon in the 1850 census. This obviously cannot be the mother of Barbara Fisher (b. 27 Feb 1776) who married Peter Walmer. If Jacob and Sabina Fisher purchased 28 acres of land on 8 Apr 1776, they were probably at least 20 years old, and if Sabina died in 1851, then she would be at least 95 years old. I have found no other Sabina Fisher in South Lebanon or anywhere in the 1850 census. Is the information in the, "History of the Long Family of Pennsylvania" correct, I ask? U.S. Federal Census, 1 June 1850, South Lebanon Twp., Lebanon Co., Pa. (enumerated 14 August 1850) Sabina Fisher, 72, F, b. Pa., $1,200 value of real estate Catharine Hoover, 34, F, b. Pa. The Sabina RAUCH who married Johann Jacob FISCHER in Jonestown, Lebanon Co., Pa. has not been confirmed to be the same Sabina RAUCH who was born to Johann Bernhardt RAUCH in Northkill, Berks Co., Pa.. Jacob FISCHER was 20y 10d old when he married Sabina RAUCH. Sabina would have been just shy of her 17th birthday if she was the daughter of Bernhardt. | ||||||||||||||||||||
