His marriage to his second wife appears in the marriage register. There are two family registers, one for each denomination. He appears in both registers with his two wives and children. None of his children through either wife appears in the baptism, marriage or death registers, but only in the family registers. His daughter Katharine married and appears with her husband and children in the family register for the Evangelical Lutheran Church only. His death is recorded in the death register as are both of his wives. He is referred to as Evangelical Lutheran in the family register for the Evangelical Reformed Church.
