He presumably was at least 20 years old when he had his first child
baptized in Flacht in 1596.
His father is possibly to be identified with Jacob SEYTER or Joß
SEYTER, whose children both appear in the earliest church records in
Flacht, but given how late his son, Michael married, it is more
probable that he is to be identified with Jacob SEYTER the younger
(son of Jacob SEYTER), who already has a son, Bastian, buried in
Flacht, but no corresponding baptims can be found. Michael SEITTER
fits well into the family of Jacob SEYTER the younger. |
