Notes for Michel DECKHER
The 1646 Family Register at Mönsheim says that Michael DECKHER was
"zu Wimpsen." The record in the neighboring town of Wimsheim makes
frequent reference to its own town as, "Wimbsen" presumably the
equivalent of "Wimpsen." Michael DECKHER was presumably a resident
of Wimsheim when he married his wife of Mönsheim, an dthe baptismal
records there confirm he was not baptized there.

There is a death record for Jacob DECKHER (or DEPHLER), age 70 (b.
1586/7), on 23 April 1657 in Mönsheim. He may be the father of
Michel DECKHER.
