and his wife are "both from here [Wattenwil]".

His 1774 death record gives his age as death as 56 years, making his
birthyear, 1717/8. This corresponds well with the only baptism
record for a Hans TRACHSEL in Wattenwil (10 July 1718), the son of
Jacob TRACHSEL and Barbara KÜNTZI.
